This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Miriel Smith
Miriel Smith resides with her husband and two daughters in West Michigan; where she has been developing a portfolio of breastfeeding paintings for several years now. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2002. Early in her career she was known for her commercial and residential mural work. Upon the birth of her first daughter, breastfeeding became her passion. This new found enthusiasm shaped the subject matter of her art. She has entered her work many times in the well-known art competition, Artprize. Artprize is a city-wide art show taking place in Grand Rapids, MI, bringing in thousands of visitors every year. Miriel saw this as a perfect opportunity to normalize...
